The Santa Monican is built by the people who live here. Send us your work. You keep the rights, we put it on paper, and the whole city gets to read it.
Written pieces run roughly 300 to 1,500 words. Photography and art should be high resolution and original. Everything you send has to be your own work.
You keep ownership of your work and grant us first print rights. We may lightly edit for length and clarity, always keeping your voice. We read every submission and reply within two weeks.
