Hi. We're Kane & Spencer.
We live here, we love it here, and somewhere between a coffee and a questionable idea we decided Santa Monica deserved a magazine you can actually hold.
So we're making one. On paper. In 2026. Against the advice of basically everyone with a spreadsheet.
No investors, no algorithm, no app to download. Just two locals and a printer. We're betting that a free, beautiful quarterly can do something a feed never will: get strangers in the same town reading the same thing, at the same café. If that sounds a little naive, you are going to love it.
